How much would you spend for fashion sunglasses?

Whether they are buying a new outfit or getting plastic surgery, people spend a lot of money to look good.  When it comes to sunglasses, though, is it really necessary to spend a lot of money?  Can you look fashionable without spending a fortune?  Absolutely!  However, there are still some things to keep in mind.  Always make sure that whatever glasses you buy have a UV rating of at least 400.  This ensures that your eyes are protected against the sun’s damaging rays.  Once you have the protection covered, you can then focus on what you really care about – looking good.

Sunglasses can vary in price from $10 to $500.  What is the difference?  In most cases the only measurable difference is the brand name logo.  A $500 pair of sunglasses comes with a small logo, likely on the arm of the frame identifying that glass as originating from that designer.  If, though, you compare the quality of that designer glass with a similar glass without a logo, you would likely find that you can’t tell them apart.  This is because these glasses are made with the consumer in mind.

So don’t pay extra for logos, especially in this economic climate.  Instead look for a glass that will look good on you and feels good to wear.  Comfort is often sacrificed in the name of fashion, especially with shoes, but don’t overlook the value of comfort in your sunglasses.  Keep that in mind and happy shopping!
